Double Elephant - 8" x 10" matted giclee print

$35.00

This little elephant on another elephant is an open-edition 5”x7” giclée* print of one of my original gouache paintings, printed with archival inks on archival paper, with a black mat. Although the print is 5”x7”, its size when matted is 8" x 10" - the image floats inside the mat, with a white border all around it. See photos to get an idea how the black-matted print might look when framed.

Please note:

  • YOU WILL RECEIVE A MATTED, UNFRAMED PRINT - you will NOT be receiving a framed piece of art. The listing photos including framed prints are to help you visualize what the art might look like when framed.

  • The watermark in the listing photo will *not* appear on the print you receive!A note on color: although I color-match my prints to the original art, due to variations in computer monitors, the colors you see on your screen may look different from the printed version.

Your print(s) will come to you in an acid-free cello sleeve, packaged in a rigid bend-proof fiberboard mailer.

*giclee is a fancy term for an archival inkjet print! More detail from Wikipedia: Giclée, commonly pronounced "zhee-clay," is a generic term for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The term, from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, to spray", originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print.
